in questi giorni ho  ricevuto una sequenza di  email inquietanti (vedi testo sopra). Il messaggio, in inglese, sostiene che il mio dispositivo sia stato infettato da un malware, che l’hacker abbia registrato video compromettenti tramite la webcam e minaccia di diffonderli se non pago $800 in Bitcoin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
FATE ATTENZIONE: \u00c8 UNA TRUFFA VECCHIA DI ANNI.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Analizziamo insieme i dettagli che tradiscono la falsit\u00e0:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Password Vecchia:<\/strong>\u00a0La mail include una mia vecchia password (Sxxxxx<\/code>),\u00a0esposta in una delle numerosissime violazioni di dati avvenute negli anni<\/strong>\u00a0(HaveIBeenPwned, etc.). Gli hacker comprano questi archivi e li usano per rendere credibili le minacce.\u00a0NON significa che abbiano accesso ai miei account attuali.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Template Diffuso:<\/strong>\u00a0Questo \u00e8 un copione standardizzato, inviato a milioni di persone in tutto il mondo. Le frasi (“satisfying yourself”, “I keep my promise”) sono identiche da anni.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Impossibilit\u00e0 Tecnica:<\/strong>\u00a0L’idea che visitando un sito si possa essere infettati, che il malware prenda il controllo totale, registri video e poi si auto-elimini\u00a0senza lasciare tracce<\/strong>\u00a0\u00e8 estremamente improbabile, soprattutto se il dispositivo \u00e8 aggiornato.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Fretta e Paura:<\/strong>\u00a0La scadenza di 3 giorni e il linguaggio volutamente umiliante e intimidatorio servono a far agire d’impulso, bypassando la razionalit\u00e0.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    2. NON RISPONDERE.<\/strong>\u00a0Non confermate che l’email \u00e8 attiva.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. IGNORARE E CANCELLARE.<\/strong>\u00a0Segnalatela come spam\/phishing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
